EDITING

My goal as an editor is to help you sound more like yourself while communicating clearly and succinctly. I charge hourly and provide a project estimate in advance. Rates range from $60 to $110/hour depending on the project.

Developmental editing

Big picture planning. What’s the main idea? Does the story arc work? Is the structure appropriate? Are there issues with reader engagement?

Copy/line editing

Flow, rhythm, and sentence structure. Does it sound right? Is the grammar correct? Is it stylistically sound?
